Chief of Staff - Kyttea (Leoperdis)
--We are pleased to announce and welcome Sata as our new Healers Chancellor of AoRG. Sata is extensively well versed in everything to do with AoRG Healing and will indeed be of extreme help to the members of the forum. Please make her feel welcome and comfortable in her new position serving the healing needs of many.
[[..Chancellor Announcements..]]
Healers Administration - Sata (WSataw)
--Greetings and well met. For those who have not met her, she is Sata. Feel free to ask any questions you may hae to me or my assisant.
--With that, I have the honor of introducting the new Assistant Healer Chancellor, Trinity Demonblade (HellFireandIce).
Healers Administration - Trinity (HellFireandIce)
--Just thanks for having me back and it is fun geting back into the swing of things. As always, please feel free to ask any questions.
Smithy Administration - Nathanial (TiefIing)
--It's rare to be able to put anyone on the spot here, but someone in this room is damned. Please welcome the new Smithy Assistant Chancellor, Sable, and her damnation is to work with me.
--Response (SableSteel): Of course! Who better to do so?
Justice Administration - Glacia (Glacia8984)
--As some may or may not know from the forum newsletter, Cindy Demonblade (XDeadlyBeautyX) is the new Justice Department Assistant Chancellor. Please be sure to update your mailing list with this change.
--Futhermore, concerning wartime, if you plan to hav AA's and BH's in your war, let me be perfectly clear, the Justice Department will not overrule the War Council. If a question comes to us, we will be checking with the Oversight and Chancellor before an answer is given.
Magic Shop Administration - Jasmine (VvJasmineNytevV)
--I would like to let you all know the Magic Shop finally has a wonderful reords keeper to keep me on my oes. Brianne for the past two years has been an active student in the Magic Shop and instructor in time of need. She has jumped in over her head when she signed up and I have her straight jacket next to mine when it's needed. Please be sure to include the new Magic Shop Assistant Chancellor on all dealings with the Magic Shop.
--The new schedule was sent out and waiting for responses from instructors, enhancers have been upgraded with correct information, and current rank advancements will be sent out soon.
Magic Shop Administration - Brianne (XIXBriXIX)
--Thank you for the kind words and I will be ready for that straight jacket in due time I'm sure.
--Please, anyone who has questions, feel free to ask at any time. I am more than happy to assist anyone and hopefully between Jasmine and myself, the Magic Shop will be running smoothly and wonderfully for you all.
Unireg Administration - Bry (Bryannae)
--I'm requesting everyone holding regs to look at the master roster on the web portal to be sure that what is listed is what you believe you have. Mistakes have been known to be made, though not by me (I'm perfect). It's best to make sure it matches before there's an event or war. The request has been made many times so the Chancellory cannot be blamed if your lifescroll is wrong.
--Once the month unireg rosters are audited, a list will be sent to the Tresvir requesting all regs that have been frozen for two months be removed.

Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: AoRG allows PowerTools, but does not allow bots Seeing as PowerTools is the same as running a dice bot because they both run outside of the AOL program, why is PowerTools allowed?
A (AstarinNoir): Using PT is not different than using the AOL Dice roller provided by AOL. You still have to use the required typed dice string required by AOL's chat room logic.
R (VincentSValentin): But it would be no different than running a dice bot sence they tell the host the same thing as the dice strings and AOL Dice Roller.
A (TiefIing): PowerTools allows for longer text typed into a chat, and the usefulness of auto logging, but it does not autoroll, or auto add dice rolls.
))
Luka (HauntedofGrey)
Q: Why are there no classes to train outside of magic, for things such as healing and other non-magic work? Also, is the forum open to allowing classes like that to form, if one has a system and curriculum established?
A (AnnisXXII): For the attainment of registrations, the tests are taken directly from the mandates, so it is essentially open book. It is felt that unless assistance is requested, most will pass these tests without having to spend time in the classroom. Also, the Smithy has a series of classes.
A (WSataw): As far as heaing classes go, Healer Delegates have the ability to submit lass outlines to Trinity and I for review. There are current proposals under review.
R (HauntedofGrey): Not exactly what I was addressing. I am speaking of a non-magic counterpart to the class list received periodically for the Magic Shop classes. Is there any consideration given to a set of healing classes or just general knowledge classes?
A (MinyaDkbld): The Chancellory has a large number of classes that have been presented to us for approval, and it is only a matter of time before they are presented to the forum. If you have a course outline, submit it to the administration associated with it and it will go through the approval process.
A (AnnisXXII): Once the classes are approved, anyone could take the classes when they are offered.
Minya (MinyaDkbld)
Comment: Just to be clear, regarding Peacetime AA and BH and locations (rooms) designated as safe locations (rooms). A room that is designated as a Safe Location (Room) for a war is also safe from Peacetime AA and BH attempts. This exemption only exists during the actual running of the war.
Donovan (DonovanLevey)
Q: In wartime is a peacetime contract still in effect?
A (KittieVonJager/Glacia8984): Yes
Q: Are they separate?
A (Glacia8984): If a member is dead, he/she cannot fight.
Q: So can multiple guilds have contracts out on the same person at the same time?
A (Glacia8984): If a peacetime contract is placed before the start of war, the named person falls under the 30-day law, which means he/she cannot have another contract placed on them during the war. However, if the wartime contract is placed first, it is for the length of the war only, and named target is not subject to the 30-day law.
Maddie (Madcatz1): Can a peacetime contract be placed on someone currently involved in a war, that person can then not be contracted by the warring guild?
A (Glacia8984): This deals more with the spirit of the law here. If there is a war between guild A and guild B, keep out of it. No allies are allowed to be used. People may have their own issues with Tom, Dick, or Harry, but do the WC and the warring guilds a favor and let them settle that business before going back to clawing each other's eyes out.
DragonFang (DracScaleWyrm)
Q: While it is said that a match cannot be used to bait and switch to fulfill a war contract, what if the assassin begins an attempt against a valid target who entered the room of their own accord, without having the intention to honor their match as of yet even though their challenged person is present in the location. Would that simply not be a matter of coincidence?
A (KittieVonJager): If the person that was challenged to a match enters the location only to be AAed or BHed, the match would be voided because they were challenged before the attempt. Once the match is over, the AA or BH attempt can be proceeded with. If the person coes in on their own accord that is a different story, but if they were called in to heal or be a mage, that refers back to the first part.

AoRG Forum Meeting - August 1, 2007
[[..Tresvir Announcements..]]
Vice President - Annis (AnnisXXII)
--The Chancellor is progressing through the process of selecting several new Chancellors. In the case of the Healers Administration, two of the current Chancellors had been processing applications and tests in order to help keep things moving for those who wished to become healers. She is displeased to report that because of certain abuses of the Chancellors' good will, there is a shortage of people to read and grade the tests. Applications and tests will therefore be processed a bit more slowly.
--Also wishes to state that in her personal opinion, the attitude that it is acceptable to be as abusive as you please to the Chancellors - who work extremely hard for this forum - is deplorable.
[[..Chancellor Announcements..]]
Smithy Administration - Nathanial (TiefIing)
--Thanks to every Smith that submitted items for the sale. The items have bee collected and the listing will be out soon for purchasing.
Events Administration - Minya (MinyaDkbld)
--While she does not wish to repeat information that is repeated regularly in the forum newsletter, does wish to ask that new guilds and guilds that have not hosted in 2007 to contact the Events Administration. They will work to put unhosting guilds in touch with those events which are not cohosted for the remainder of the year. Any cancellations will be offered first to those guilds.
Magic Shop Administration - Jasmine (VvJasmineNytevV)
--All of the enhancer orders that I have recieved have been assigned out to mages. Several are being sent out shortly since they were enhanced. There will be a notice of rank advances published within the next few days.
--Schedule asking for instructors have been sent out to guild leaders.
--Updated enhancer lists will be published after all enhancer rosters have been gone over.
--If mages wish to teach, please scroll me if you have not already done so for literature.
--If your members have submitted an application within the past two weeks for membership within the MS and have not recieved a welcome letter to this date, let me know.
[[..Member Inquiries..]]
Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: I have heard a few that recently received letters stating regrets after they did the written test, but never had an interview. Why was it that a few of the ones were turned away without an interview, yet could do as you were looking for? Or was it for other reasons they were not told as why they did not get a shot?
A (AnnisXXII): There were a large number of applications for the Healers Chancellor position. All applications were reviewed and then voted upon. We had predetermined the maximum number of applications that could be taken through to a second interview.
A (Leoperdis): There were actually three parts to this interview process. First, there was a written resume where the candidate could describe as much as they wished about himself/herself for the Chancellor to know. Next came a written interview where they could respond to the questions as fully as they desired. These two items held much value in deciding who moved into the final live interview. As Annis stated, due to the high volume of applications, the first two processes gave us our basis for choosing who would be left.
Dyl-Bok (DylBok Grant)
Q: Is it not one of the inherent duties of the Healer Delegates the ability to help people who haven't quite gotten the mandates down to better understand them and therefore pass the test? Has any thought been given to this group to do something other than the rare order that comes in for an item to aid someone in healing. I'ms ure there are a lot of them who would appreciate being able to help out the forum as a whole during the whole shuffle of appointing chancellors.
A (AnnisXXII): The process is that an application is made, proof of guild membership provided and the test sent to the applicant. It is, essentially, open book. If an applicant fails to pass they are given a week to study the mandates and retest. If they wish for assistance at that time, they have only to ask. There is alw ays someone who would be happy to help. But must be asked or we will not know if help is needed.
Response (DylBok Grant): You have thirty-six people that are registered Healer Delegates, with a duty other than crafting things, to help those in need of it with passing their tests. They are among the most knowledgable in regards to the mandates governing healing, outside of the chancellors that oversee it. Has there been any thought, at all, about having those same people being used to ease the workload presented with grading tests?
A (AnnisXXII): It is a good thought. Glacia, please poll the delegates and see if any are willing to assist?
Tara (TaraAlgalord)
Q: Going back to the topic of the Healers' Interviews, those who received a non-descript school stating just that they were not accepted is not really informative. Most applicants would like to know why they were not accepted seeing as they took the time to volunteer for the position.
A (Glacia8984): Oh god lord folks, simply put you did not recieve enough votes to usher you into the live interview. We are sorry and wish you all the best but you didn'tget it
A (Leoperdis): It was pointed out int he written portion of the interview, but as far as the exact reasons for declining, it's hard to judge how in-depth one would wish for the Chancellory to be.
Response (TaraAlgalord): There were no live interviews. There was just a scroll.
A (Leoperdis): There are many factors which decide it but as I have said before, most of it are the impressions left upon the Chancellors.
R (TaraAlgalord): Although she herself did not apply, there were others who wished to know the reasons they were denied.
A (Leoperdis): There was a lot of care in making these decisions. The ranges for why someone was not accepted could sometimes be as simple as one having more availability than another. The same way each guild has a criteria for acceptance, so does AoRG.
R (TaraAlgalord): Then something should be stated in the scroll informing them of the reasons.
A (AnnisXXII): We do not ask each Chancellor why they voted as they did. Each person has his or her own reasoning process. All that is there is the end vote tallies. Each chancellor would need to be asked to understand and be able to explain the reasoning.
R (TaraAlgalord): Anything would be better than a non-descript scroll.
A (Leoperdis): It's understandable, but we did not wish to class anyone as "failed". It just means at this time, they did not receive the number of votes needed to move on. They are welcome to try again in the future.
R (TaraAlgalord): Jus a simple reason as to why they were turned down it all I am saying.
A (Leoperdis): It will be looked at to how they can be made more descriptive. But there isn't much else to be said. It is a competition and some were selected to go on. Thank you for letting us know there should be a little more.
Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: While I may not be a delegate, I would gladly lend a hand if you would like with the healers. Also, if you turned away peopel who are available often and people who work hard at everything they do, you might miss something. You should do it the correct way and give everyone an interview to see who is the most qualified to avoid bias in the votes.
Trai (TraiTRune24)
Q: Is it possible for people to be removed from the banned and black lists? Or are such ideas sent to a more closed-minded area?
A (AnnisXXII): People have been removed from the banned lists. It is an individual sort of thing. Case-by-case.
Response (TraiTRune24: But all are given a fair chance for a hearing of sorts correct?
A (AnnisXXII): Yes.

Mikael (RedDracuhn)
Q: For the Smithy Sale, no healing enhancers can be sold? Is it only weapons and armor?
A (TiefIing): As Healing Enhancers and Magical Enhancers are not the domain of the Smithy, there will only be weapons and armors in the sale.
Cyana (CyanaMerc1)
Statement: Wishes to reiterate that everyone should know the rules and protocol for the meetings and to shove it. There isn't to be any conversation or fidgeting unless you have the floor.
Response (RedDracuhn): With all due respect, he wishes to tell Cy it is not her job to instill order and to let the chancellors handle such things.
Minya (MinyaDkbld)
Q: Concerning Smithy Sales, not everything was sold for the Spring Sale, will the leftover items and new itmes be actually discounted this sale, as most expect "Sale" to mean discounts offered?
A (TiefIing): The word sale has many meanings, but the enhancers still remaining from the Spring Sale will be offered at a slightly discounted rate.
Mikael (RedDracuhn)
Q: One item per Smith?
A (TiefIing): Yes, one smith may submit one item per sale.
Q (RedDracuhn): So if the deadline ends and there is only a small amount of items to be sold, would the deadline be extended and the smiths allowed to craft more?
A: A month is alloted, and at this time, there is no need to extend the deadline.
Rooks (RooksSalvasti)
Q: Is it possible to learn the status of a person within the Smithy, in relation to orders completed and items that have been sold, so that the smith is aware of how soon a promotion is in the future?
A (TiefIing): If the person asking is the person being asked about, yes.
Q (RoosSalvasti): Has there been any thought to perhaps once or twice a year sending out notices to the smiths to keep them informed of their progress?
A (TiefIing): It has never been considered before, but will be taken into consideration from now on.
Donovan (DonovanLeVey)
Q: Concerning the one item per Smith, will there be enough items to offer all of the guilds, or is it a first-com-first-buy sale and when they are gone, it is over?
A (TiefIing): If has always been on a first-come-first-buy. The sales are set up more to allow the smiths a change to make something of their own will, not merely craft something a guild wants.
Q (DonovanLeVey): This being my first sale, how is an order commenced?
A (TiefIing): The first to contact the Smithy via a letter of interest in an item, provided their guild can afford the purchase, will receive the itme.
Kuma (Xyshuryn)
Q: As someone who has not been in the Smithy all that long and have not heard much of this sale since early last month, am I allowed to make either an offensive or defensive enhancer of my choosing or do I need to wait for an order? Also, when I have made my enhancer, how do I go about turning it in to be sold?
A (TiefIing): IN regards to the sale, you may make whatever you choose, whether that is a weapon or armor. In the June twenty-fifth newsletter it details the form needed to be submitted.
Bekkah (Bekkah420)
Announcement: Sorry for short notice, but the Knighting of Mikael Valo will be tonight after the meeting for any who wish to stay and watch.
Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: There are people who wish to advance within the Smithy but have never recieved any projects or even get a chance to advance even if they have taken the required class. There are a few who have not had the class, but then received a project once in a blue moon. How does one get more projects to advance as currently it seems almost impossible when one never recieves any projects?
A (TiefIing): This is the reason for the sales, to allow the Smiths a chance to craft something. Since orders come from the guilds, more orders can not just be created. Thge plan is to hold a sale at least once a quarter, so that Smiths have the chance to advance.
Q (VincentSValentin): I have been in the Smithy since before the new year and yet once I have heard of any projects to be given out and according to the mandates, you can only make one enhancer at your level.
A (TiefIing): As for Smiths that have never taken a class and getting a project, that is not the case. You must take the Rune Enhancement class to be able to craft items in the Smithy.
Q (VincentSValentin): Well, I know of one who did receive a project but never took a class. He also quit the Smithy because he never received help or was able to get a private class worked out.
A (TiefIing): Which mandate are you referring, concerning only one enhancer at your level?
Q (VincentSValentin): Smith Sales - Point B "Each Smith may craft one item at their level for the sale. The choice of enhancer type ((offensive or defensive)), item, and name are completely up to the crafting Smith.
A (TiefIing): That pertains to sales only, and does not in any way effect an order from a guild. Orders are assigned to smiths on a random basis. When one comes in, I call in a Chancellor to witness as I draw the name from a pile from the list of those that have not had the chance to craft an enhancer yet.
Q (VincentSValentin): And that includes the ones who have not had the class yet?
A (TiefIing): No, the names are not added until they have taken the class. What is the name of the individual you speak of?
Q (VincentSValentin): Cloud BlackRose
A (TiefIing): I have no record of that person ever crafting an enhancer.
Q (VincentSValentin): He did not do it because he had not takent he class and let it sit till you gave him a lecture on it.
A (TiefIing): In the interest of moving this meeting along, we can continue this conversation after the meeting is adjourned.
Saer (Saerlaithian)
Q: Can someone please pass me a copy of the Newsletter in question with the submission form for the Smithy Sale?
A (TiefIing): A new flyer will also be sent out soon.
Lanara (StormMagess)
Q: Concerning the Smithy Lottery, after a name is drawn, is it placed aside to give others a chance at crafting, or is it tossed back in with the next lottery?
A (TiefIing): Everyone is first given a chance to craft before names are placed back into the lottery.
Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: So with this list, it is possible someone could wait over half a year for their first project?
A (TiefIing): That is possible, yes.

--Just to FYI, even though she is not a part of the Chancellory, she is still helping out the Justice Department, such as with tests and contracts while Glacia is out and the department is staffed once again.
Magic Shop Administration - Jasmine (VvJasmineNytevV)
--FYI that the Magic Shop will be up and running again smoothly since she is now returned. Please igve her a day or two to get out Advances, New Rosters, and so forth.
[[..Member Inquiries..]]

GC's should be sure to inform their smithy members.
--It may be a bit yet before the Smithy Assistant position actually becomes available.

Daggers taking entries through June 22, and CRoWWN-GT's Thrust-or-Parry flyer will be coming out before the weekend.
[[..Member Inquiries..]]
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Q: Is the Healers Department only open for new registants? Or can enhancer orders also be completed?
A (Leoperdis): For the meantime, it will only be for new healers to test. All other aspects will be put into order soon.
Mikael (RedDracuhn)
Q: As far as the Healers Administration being reopened, when will the Healer Chancellor positions become available?
A (Leoperdis): Openings for applications will be very soon, less than a week or so.
Ozmodaus (Ozmodaus)
Q to Nathanial: Does that mean Nathanial is the Master Smith once more?
A (TiefIing): It does not. The announcement is best left for Chris to make and for him to speak on this matter.
Amber (BlodAssassin)
Q: Would like to know when she will hear on the issue filed with the Chancellors quite a time ago.
A (Leoperdis): The nature of the issue has been addressed on several occassions already. The outcome is unlikely to change. The
issue can only be revisited so many times before it is known that changes are not going to happen. So the issue needs to close.
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Q: In regards to matches, once a match begins (init rolled), do the rules of the match apply? Including the action rule, even
if the first round is not completed?
A (Leoperdis): The rules are in effect at that time.
Q (TiefIing): So if one of the combatants fails to act within the time of the action rule, the match it forfeit?
A (Leoperdis): Correct.
Cyana (CyanaMerc1)
Q: If the init starts the actual time the rule is applied, someone needs to revise the proctoring guidelines. If you are calling
a punt action rule, it is assumed that it begins at that time, which is before the init to agree to terms.
Response (Leoperdis): For as long as she has known, once init is made, the rules for engagement are locked in place, but it will
be looked at.
Kit (XIXKitIX)
Q: So the rule actually is the action and punt rules are first in place once init is called for, not when the proctor says the
rules are in place?
A (Leoperdis): Init signals several things. It confirms readiness, agreement to terms, and that at that time, they are in
agreement to play by those terms.
Cyana (CyanaMerc1)
Q: Wouldn't it be easier than to ask for the punt/action rule after init? Before the first round begins to start the clock?
A (Leoperdis): The clock should begin to count from the moment the proctor signals to begin round one.
Ember (VvLadyEmbervV)
Q: Asking clarification - no one is locked into a match until init is rolled? So if someone punts or actions out before init,
then it does not matter?
A (Leoperdis): It does matter if the challenge was made and accepted. The match must still take place. Someone cannot escape a
match completely by stating they were punted.
Q: When are you locked into the match?
A (Leoperdis): Once someone is challenged and agrees to the match, it must take place.
Vincent (VincentSValentin)
Q: Concerning a recent letter that was sent out. It gave praise to the individual, but at the bottom stated that if the
individual were accepted into any guild, the writer of the letter would declare war on the accepting guild. Is this an
appropriate type of letter that should be sent out.
A (Leoperdis): Members should never use the AoRG mailstrings and resources to slander someone. This individual will have to
answer to the Chancellory on why they exploit the listings and how little respect they have for AoRG.
Angelic (XAngelicRegretX)
Q: Wishes to know if anyone can teach a class or if there are requirements.
A (Leoperdis): Certain departments have different requirements, so please contact the Chancellors of the department you are
interested in for more information.
Minya (MinyaDkbld)
Statement: Raz has ruled that in order for a math to be valid, for anyone to earn VP from it, a full round must be fought.
This means is someone forfeits or is punted before their action before round 1 is fought, the match is void. The 24-hour
challenge rule does still apply. For Mass Spars, for a participant to earn the 1 VP for DQing, they must have participated
in the first round of combat. If they depart before their action, they earn nothing.
Kyttea (Leoperdis)
Statement: It is all understood, Minya. The init has been, for many years, the official point of legal engagement.
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Request: Please sent out a copy of this Ruling by Raz, as the records have not been given to the GC's of the guilds of the forum.
Raven (Ravensilvr3)
Q: Why is it that when something has been decided amongst the Chancellors, it has to be drug out at a meeting instead of
distributed to the population?
A (Leoperdis): Some decisions have been sent to the GC's or placed in newsletters to distribute to their members. We can look at
perhaps creatinga more complete process, but those are the two sources currently used
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Q: Who is all allowed to contest a match? Are persons not involved in th match allowed to contest? Or is it only the fighters?
Can the healers or mages or bystanders? Or even the GC that sees it later?
A (Leoperdis): Only combatants have the rights to contest a match. GC's should train members well enough so they do not have
to step in at all. There are going to be ties when something is not fair, but that is rare and any combatant has a right prior
to a match to ask about the terms being clear to them.
Cyana (CyanaMerc1)
Observation: Having been in the forums a long time, she has noticed that the forum has been crumbling. Guild policies mean more
so than the guild members. When will it stop? When will each one of us stop pointing fingers and toe the line? A small few are
trying and working their fingers to the bone to make it livable and are burning out because of all the BS. Take a look around and
stand for what is right, not just for yourself, but for all.
Minya (MinyaDkbld)
Comment: Adding to Kyttea's comment, only the combatants have the rights to contest a match, but any participant has the right to
file a complain on the issue.

AoRG Forum Meeting - June 6, 2007
[[..Presidential Announcements..]]
AoRG Forum President - Raziel (VvRazielvV)
--There has been much notice made of the petty bickering, squabbles, and personal woes and angst. The
Chancellory does not care for it or care about it. It does not need to be brought to their attention.
However, should the pettiness begin to affect the health of the forum (either IC or OOC), the Chancellory
will step in and take matters of blacklisting or banning to protect the forum. ((This is a game.
something that is supposed to be fun. The forum is here to provide the rules to play by, but that is all.))
[[..Member Inquiries..]]
Amber (BlodAssassin)
Q These statements should not apply to only GC's and members, but to Chancellory members
as well, such as showing prefered treatment. Will this be dealt with?
A (VvRaziel): The Chancellors have heard a lot of yelling lately, and all of their conduct is being
recorded and will be dealt with in the very near future.
Bekkah (Bekkah420)
((Q: What about OOC harrassment?
A (VvRazielvV): Send records to the Tresvir and it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.))
Raine (XxFireandEarthxX)
((Q: What about OOC harrassment and rudeness concerning IC matters?
A (VvRazielvV): Send records to the Tresvir and it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.))
Dyl-Bok (DylBokGrant)
Q: When will the Healer's Administration be open again or at least applications
be accepted for the positions?
A (VvRazielvV): Things should be ready to go in some manner by the time the Chancellory meeting next
week is over with. It could be any of those items listed, but it will be open in some fashion.
Llor (XLlorDreiX)
Suggestion: Perhaps due to the nature of this meeting tonight, a section of OOC should be held at a certain
period in time and then an IC meeting held for those, so those who only wish to deal with IC issues can
attend meetings of that nature.
Wesley (WesleyLyzanders)
Q: What is the ruling for a gulid to enter the lands of another and hold control over it (i.e. opening
the tavern of another guild and holding the bolt).
A (VvRazielvV): Fraight is not allowed. Misrepresenting yourself on forum territory can get you
suspended. However, if another guild is bested, they are fine (RPed out, etc.).
Q: So would the members of FAR get suspended for opening a room with DM in the title.
A: It is possible. More information would be needed to make a decision.
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Statement: A letter was sent to the chancellory earlier today asking if any mandates were violated in
the settling of FAR on the borderlands of DM. If they are breaking mandates, the guild will leave the
lands belonging to DM.
Amber (BlodAssassin)
Statement: As a Chancellor and Former Vice President, shouldn't Nathanial know and uphold all the mandates?
It does not look good for the members of the forum to see one such as him be ignorant of mandates he broke.
Response (VvRazielvV): It is not a written mandates. This is such a situation that relies on the spirit of
the mandates to be upheld.
Kyttea (Leoperdis)
Suggestion: Grand Commanders involved in such sitiations may be able to reach a quiet understanding, prior
to invasions of such a nature, and incorporate it into a written adventure (Open/Closed Storylines).
Annis (AnnisXXII)
Statement: We are a warlike culture and there will be hostilities. There will be raides. An unguarded
tavern may be commandeered by a hostile guild. It is in the nature of our very society. If this should
occur, then it is time to reclaim or protect your property or lands. It is not time to come to the
Chancellory and complain.
Glacia (Glacia8984)
Comment from Mandates: Sometimes it is best that if you do not agree with the roleplay, the best method
to dealing with it is simply to ignore people are there.
Wesley (WesleyLyzanders)
Q: When someone is placed on the AoRG Blacklist, is that person banned or their mun.
A (VvRazielvV): Blacklisting means that the character is banned. To be Banned means the mun/player is banned.

--Unireg Roster has been updated on the AoRG Portal. Any questions should be directed to the Chancellor.
Events Administration - Minya (MinyaDkbld)
--Reminder that Guild Leaders may revise their list of individuals who should receive event related mail by sending a message to Minya, Lirial, Cindy, Raz, Annis, and Kyttea.
--Also, there are no current openings in the Events calendar for this year. For any guilds that have no hosted, a suggestion was to seek out guilds with approved events to perhaps co-host.
General / Healing Administration Announcement - Annis (AnnisXXII)
--Healers Administration is currently closed for restructuring. Announcement will be made when it is reopened.
[[..Member Inquiries..]]
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Q: Concerning land wars, is that type of war simple a term in the War or is it a completely separate style of Declaration of War?
A (KittieVonJager): As far as land goes, it would be a part of the spoils in the terms of war, though it would not hurt to mention something in the DoW either.
Q: Do it would have to be agreed upon by both guilds?
A: Yes.
Cassy (DrkCrimsonTearz)
Q: Wishes to implore the Chancellory to reconsider the amount of matches people can participate in together in an event. It was difficult to find matchs for the Lady Luck event.
A (MinyaDkbld): The topic was covered by Raz's recent Executive Orders. They were create in order to control the amount of exclusivity. All MS matches must have two or more
guilds involved; no three particpants can do more than five matches together in any one event; and only fifty percent of matches by a proctor may include only the proctor's guild.
Q: I do understand the rules, but wishes the Chancellory to reconsider. There are those who play by the rules as they were intended and are being punished because of other's misdeeds.
A (MinyaDkbld): What are you looking for exactly?
Replay (DrkCrimsonTearz): Reconsideration of the rules for those who are innocent and do not abuse the system.
A (MinyaDkbld): You wish us to throw the book at those who are not guilty of breaking mandates because you don't believe they behaved fair? Raz's orders were issued as a response
to the issues you've raised. This is the problem, because Raz made those orders, the guilds you see as being guilty were not breaking any mandates.
Q (AnnisXXII): What penalties are in place now for those who break the mandate limits?
A (MinyaDkbld): The matches outside the limits are voided.
Q (AnnisXXII): Does it help, Cassy?
A (DrkCimsonTearz): No, it doesn't, but thanks for trying.
Trai (TraiTRune24)
Q: Curiosity question, but would a small reason for the new laws also be to cut down on the rather overwhelming amoutn of paperwork that the overseers of the event have to handle as well?
A (MinyaDkbld): The President's third order actually increases the paperwork, but there is hope it will alleviate some of the daily mail received.
Glacia (Glacia8984)
Thought: Note that the letter from Raz said it was a temporary order until the new event mandates are written and approved. There are two teams working very hard at preparing
well-thoughtout and fair mandates for the forum. Many may not agree with the law, but the events Chancellors also need a break so they can also write these mandates instead of checking
over a ton of event logs all the time. I believe it is a fair trade off for well-done mandates and still have events running.

[[..Chancellor Announcements..]]
There were no Chancellory announcements at the meeting.
[[..Presidential Announcements..]]
Raziel -
Wished to note the three executive orders that were issued this week. He informed that the orders were temporary until the new Event Mandates were released.
If any member of AoRG would like to participate in the discussions regarding mandate revisions, please contact the Tresvir to be involved in one of the teams.

Dragon (DragonMcCombs)
Request: Individual requested that the Templar University Schedule be placed in the AoRG Weekly Newsletter.
Q (AnnisXXII): What is the Templar University?
A (DragonMcCombs): "The school portion of the Templar. The answer to what Loreil wasn't doing...?"
Comment (VvRazielvV): Submit the paperwork to Annis and it will be looked into. There will be a disclaimer though stating that the University is not directly AoRG related.
Alex (AlexCollinsworth)
Q: Could Sir Dragon explain exactly what Templar University is for those who know nothing about it?
A (DragonMcCombs): Says it is like "Loreil 2.0". The University is similar to the Academy.
Tradan (Madcatz1)
Comment: It seems the Templars have divided Loreil and the Wardens, and is not something AoRG should be involved in because it is more of an internal conflict of Loreil.
Q (VvRazielvV): AoRG has no official involvement with either group. At one time, there was diplomatic relations with Loreil and there was an ambassador from them. When Michael Damascus resigned from his post, there was never any further discussions between Loreil and AoRG.
Cassy (DrkCrimsonTearz)
Comment: She has been looking at the portal for a University and believes that the Templar would be a great addition for studies within AoRG. She is glad to hear the Chancellory will be looking into them.
Nathanial (TiefIing)
Comment: The Templar people don't bother to ask if you want mail from them before they sent the stuff to you.
Alex (AlexCollinsworth)
Comment: As there is no working agreement with Loreil, but their schedule is posted in the newsletter, it only seems fair that the Templar's schedule be granted the same rights.
A (VvRazielvV): A valid argument and one that will be taken into account when the materials are submitted.
Annis (AnnisXXII)
Comment: Wishes to say that this information on the Templar came from out of the blue and she has never heard of it before. The information when first received was discarded, but she does have a fresh copy of the information now to be reviewed.
Maddie (Madcatz1)
Q: When will CoA get word whether or not it has been accepted into AoRG?
A (VvRazielvV): As soon as a vote has been concluded, the guild will be notified.
Mun of Raziel (VvRazielvV)
I'm looking for a talent with maps .. gaming cartography or whatnot. I'd like to try and get a new AoRG map going for when we update and improve the land mandates down the road.... there's plenty of time but I want to get it out there. There may possibly be a contest with some in-game rewards.

Executive Orders 01.05.07, 02.05.07 & 03.05.07
By executive order of the President of the Association of Rhydin Guilds:
01. From this day forward all Mass Combat (MC/MS) matches in Events must have in participation members of at least two different AoRG guilds.
02. Members may not stack event matches. This has become too great a problem. For this reason I am reinstating an executive order that I made in that past that was overturned during an interim administration. There may be no more then 5 matches per event that contain the same three members in the same match in any capacity (proctor, challenger, challenged).
03. It has been made clear that too many are not participating in events in the spirit of the events system. The main purpose for events is to provide interaction between the guilds of AoRG. For this reason I am ordering that from this day forward no more the 50% of the matches submitted by members of a guild can contain only members of that guild. Any matches above 50% of all the matches a guild has submitted in an event that only contain members of the submitting guild will be completely voided and nullified. This will be determined at the end of an event when all the matches are counted and will be counted by the time matches were submitted.
Example... 100 matches are submitted by proctors of guild XYZ. Of those 100 matches 52 of them only have members of XYZ as participants. Only 50% (In the case of a decimal we will round up to the nearest whole number) of the matches XYZ submitted can be allowed with all participants being from XYZ, which equates to 50 matches. So the last two matches submitted where all participants are from XYZ will be voided.
KISS - The easiest way to follow this Order is for proctors to follow this principle: For every match you proctor that contains only members of your guild, you should proctor at least one match that includes at least one person that is not in your guild.
These executive orders are being implemented to provide a more fair and more interactive environment in Events.
All orders here are in effect until new Events Mandates have been created and approved by the Chancellery.
More executive orders may occur as we proceed with the business of creating new Events Mandates which is next on our docket.
The Vice President is asked to include this message in the Newsletter and the Chief of Staff is asked to forward it to the Guild Commanders from her office with any staffing notes she may wish to make.

AoRG Forum Meeting - April 25, 2007
[[..Chancellor Announcements..]]
Healers Administration - Trinisty Demonblade (HellFireandIce)
--Apology given for delay in grading of dests. Chancellor Trinity had a fire in her office and lost mos to the files and is attempting to
find copies of them all. She requests that any still waiting may resubmit their tests for grading. Also, if there are any complaints directed
towards her as a Chancellor, she asks that the individual come to her first to discuss and recify the situation.
Vice President - Annis (AnnisXXII)
--Request that all GCs send in a current list of all in their guilds who should receive the AoRG Newsletter.
Events Administration - Minya (MinyaDkbld)
--If there are individuals GCs wish to receive event-related mail (Final Tallies, Flyers, etc), drop the Events Administration a note and
they will ensure the individual(s) is added to the list. (Mailstring: VvRazielvV, AnnisXXII, Leoperdis, MinyaDkbld, CrucifiedReverie,
XDeadly BeautyX)
--There are no event dates open in 2007 any longer. Cancellations will be made known as soon as they occur.
[[..Member Inquiries..]]
Glacia DuBois (Glacia8984)
Q: Will the two week event submission rule be bypassed if an event cancellation occurs?
A (MinyaDkbld): Yes, given there are no event dates remaining, the two week rule will be bypassed. There does however need to be
a minimum of five days for forum members to register for the event.
Wesley (WesleyLyzanders)
Q: When one is dead by AoRG standards, are they barred only from AoRG Public Rooms or all Public Rooms?
A (Glacia8984): Concerning Assassinations, the rule should apply to all public rooms. However, as AoRG does not have any authority
over other forum rooms, they cannot enforce such a rule.
W: Could you please specifiy what the result is for a type of death other than an Assassination?
A (Leoperdis): When one is dead, they are dead. They are not allowed to be in public rooms.
W: Why does AoRG feel it has the right to say there can be no public rooms? Other forums allow the individual to be in public rooms as a ghost.
A (AnnisXXII): It is expected that when one is dead, they are dead. They are not expected to be walking about. While the authority to govern
rooms of other forums, it is expected that members of AoRG will uphold the "Spirit" of the mandates.
A (Leoperdis): The mandates state that when a person is dead, by any means, they are barred from public rooms. A person is dead
everywhere, not just in certain realms as they choose.
A (AnnisXXII): Clarified that AoRG is not trying to control where individuals go, but that if a complaint is lodged, the situation would be
evaluated more thoroughly.
Q: Also, Why does AoRG not require AoRG rooms to be registered with the forum? It would cut down on confusion at times.
A (Leoperdis): The topic has come up many times and has been considered very carefully by the Chancellory. It is not that the task
is unfeasible. At the present, there is no plan to put it into place, but it may come to pass in the future.
Drak (DrakeBloodblade)
Suggestion: Because of the confusion over which rooms are considered AoRG and which are not, perhaps it is best to have each guild
submit two rooms for themselves. Of course, to ensure these rooms are being used, the rooms would need to be reviewed from time to time.
DesertFang (DracScaleWyrm)
Suggestion: An arrangement for extradition treaties with other governments to allow for hunters and assassins to conduct contracts within
the other government's lands.
Destiny (DestinyAntonia)
Suggestion: Seeing that there are beasts who complete contracts for hire, they do not read signs or check which land they are in; members from
other forums come to our lands to complete contracts with little regard for the AoRG system, why should it not be allowed for the
members of AoRG.
Vincent (CptMichaelKage)
Q: Given that if the room owner is a member of AoRG, the AoRG rules apply. Would AA's and BH's be valid in those rooms because of
the owner?
A (Glacia): The AoRG Charter states that any room which does not include the name of another forum or non-AoRG guild is considered
to be a legitimate AoRG room if the bolt holder is a member of AoRG.
Destiny (DestinyAntonia)
Comment: If attempts were judged on a case-by-case basis, fines would not be dealt out for attempts.
A (Leoperdis): The case spoken of was specific and still in discussion, so would not be spoken of tonight.
Response (DestinyAntonia): Case-by-Case causes too many headaches and work. There should be a general rule.
Comment (Glacia8984): The attempt would not be fined, but simply voided.
DesertFang (DracScaleWyrm)
Comment: Concerning policies across the board, if one doesn't wish for the public to frown on them, act like you want to be treated. Also,
if the forum were more firm in its dealings with those who seek ways to circumvent the rules, there would be less of it.
Trai (TraiTRune24)
Q: If a person wishes to die in a non-AoRG room, for any reason, would the Chancellory void the attempt?
A (Leoperdis): Cannot imagine the Chancellory declining such a request.
Corlock (Corlock3)
Q: While the mandates mention it is illegal to use bots, what are the penalties?
A (Leoperdis): There is no extensive info on it. The situation is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Maddie (Madcatz1)
Q: In regards to the AA attempt made on himself, he did nothing to stop it, instead others did. All others save the assassin and proctor
remained.
A (Leoperdis): Because this is a matter still under discussion, it will not be discussed in the forum meeting.
Comment (DestinyAntonia): Accuses Matcatz1 of bolting assassins.
Comment (Madcatz1): Did not bolt the assassin and proctor, but others that followed.
Comment (Leoperdis): Announces the topic is closed in a very firm manner.
DesertFant (DracScaleWyrm)
Suggestion: Contracts of differing costs could be created, where a higher priced contract has a farther reach (able to hunt in room with
no clear forum marker).
Kuma (Xyshuryn)
Comment: Kuma caters weddings, parties, and the like, so if any other AoRG guilds have a chef of sorts, he is willing to have a cook-off
where the real winners are those who come to enjoy the grub.
Annis (AnnisXXII)
Q: Requested that any questions about the relaxed UniReg Rule be asked now.
A: No questions were asked.
Jade (XvJadeDrkwoodvX)
Q: Was wondering if submitted suggestion was received by the Chancellory.
A (Leoperdis): It was received, just has not been up for discussion yet. It would be introduced soon to the Chancellory.
Dyl-Bok (DylBokGrant)
Q: The forum was told some time ago that the contents of the suggestion box would added to the Newsletter, as well as the status. However,
such a thing has not come to pass. Status update desired.
A (AnnisXXII): Due tot he incident where a member did not wish their suggetion made public, the plan was placed on the backburner.
If the forum at large supports the publishing of suggestions, it would be again considered.
Q: Are the suggestions at least being read?
A (Leoperdis): Yes.
Arch (ArchelausDhaka)
Suggestion: Add a check box to the submission area for whether the suggestion can be made public or not.
